GENEVA MOTOR SHOW 2006

The 76th Geneva Motor Show: 2 – 12 March 2006

The all new Lexus LS 460 luxury saloon will have its European premiere at the 2006 Geneva motor show. The fourth generation LS takes the flagship of the Lexus range to a new level, with leading-edge safety technology and the advanced embodiment of the L-finesse design philosophy.

On sale at the end of 2006, the LS 460 features the world's first eight-speed automatic transmission and a completely new 4.6 litre engine – the most economical petrol V8 on the market. The LS also sets new standards in anticipatory safety with a range of revolutionary, state-of-the-art systems designed to protect both occupants and those in the car's immediate environment.

The Lexus stand will also feature the world's first hybrid luxury saloon: the GS 450h. Powered by a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine and a high-output permanent magnetic electric motor, this new powertrain gives impressive performance, great fuel economy and reduced emissions.

As well as the European premiere of the LS 460 and the GS 450h exhibit, visitors will also be able to see a cut-away version of the RX 400h (with the workings of its hybrid technology visible), a new version of the world's most successful luxury SUV – the RX 350, which replaces the RX 300 – plus the IS 220d, the IS 250 and the SC 430.

Lexus will be on stand 4211. Tickets are available in advance from the Geneva Motor Show site.
