The look and feel of the RX350 is unique as it follows the specially developed design philosophy 'L-finesse'. The design merges two aspects — leading-edge technology, and human sensibility and skill – and it was this high aspiration that the Lexus design team followed when designing the RX350. From first glance, every angle of the RX350 interior and exterior is sublime power and graceful dignity.
From the moment you step into its interior, the Lexus RX350 envelops you in luxury. In order to create this atmosphere, Lexus designers paid close attention to every detail in the vehicle's interior, placing a priority on the vehicle's occupants which features an innovative operational feeling. The centerpiece of the new cockpit is the available Remote Touch system, which enables drivers to access and manipulate the cursor quickly and at will, which improves safety by significantly reducing eye and head movement when driving. Also the navigation system inherits the former touch panel's superb graphic user interface, making it easy for current Lexus owners to familiarize themselves with the new system. Also featured is the Multi-Information Switch, which allows the driver to change the settings of various functions without taking their hands off the leather-wrapped, wood-trimmed steering wheel to make the time spent in the RX350 interior more exciting and comfortable.
Also the uncompromising pursuit of performance and functionality extends to the audio and control systems, featuring a 15 – speakers Mark Levinson Premium surround sound system, with 6 DVD changer, MP3, WMA and Bluetooth compatibility, and an auxiliary audio input jack, which will let the drivers enjoy an acoustic space with a rich presence.
Moreover, the Lexus RX350 features the advanced Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) systems which are designed to deliver exceptional stability and control, while maintaining the vehicle's optimal position in various driving conditions. Leading edge intelligent systems do their work to take the burden of driving off the driver, as features such as Electric Power Steering (EPS), Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM), Bi-HID headlamps, intelligent Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) and Wide-angle side view and rear view monitors create a sense of total command on the road and peace of mind.

The RX350 comes with a sleek 3.5-litre V6 engine and a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission which uses artificial intelligence (AI-SHIFT), to automatically control the shift pattern based on estimates of both road conditions and driver intentions. The new engine also comes with VVT-I (Variable Valve timing with intelligence) for more power and better fuel economy, and it's designed to deliver optimal performance in a wide-range of driving conditions, also a new double-wishbone rear suspension not only helps provide exceptional agility and control, but also prevents the intrusion of suspension towers into the luggage compartment.
Additionally, as part of its pursuit of ideal safety performance, the RX350 body structure is designed to help protect the cabin, while helping to reduce injury on pedestrians. Also, it has 10 standard SRS airbags designed to protect the passengers in the front and the second row seats from front and side collisions. As well, its front seats headrests are active so that in case of any collision from the rear side, the headrests move to an appropriate position.
