Regenerative Braking
The high-efficiency regenerative brake system activates the motor as a generator while decelerating and braking, converting the moving vehicle’s kinetic energy into electric energy and using it to charge the battery.
Power Control Unit
With excellent inverter output as well as a high-output electric motor with ample capacity for applying the power control unit’s high current to the vehicle’s power, this system delivers quiet powerful acceleration at start-up and instantaneously-responsive linear acceleration at speed.
Compact Battery
The compact form of the high-output Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery installed in the luggage compartment, contributes to the ample luggage space. Its excellent cooling performance is boosted by using cold air from the rear cooler.
