Ebrahim K. Kanoo Premieres New 2021 Lexus LS in Bahrain

December 21, 2020

Manama, 21 December 2020: Continuing the evolution of the brand, Ebrahim K. Kanoo the sole distributor of Lexus vehicles in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the arrival of the new 2021 Lexus LS at its showroom in Sitra, marking the 30th anniversary of the flagship model.

The first-generation LS debuted in 1989 globally, and in 1990 was first introduced in Bahrain. It quickly built the foundation of Lexus with the high praise earned by its exceptional quietness and comfort. Chief Branding Officer and Master Driver Akio Toyoda positions the LS―in all its generations―as "a model that gives rise to transformation through the spirit of constant innovation and by providing new technologies and value for the times".

Lexus LS has cumulatively sold 870,000 units, gaining popularity over a span of more than 30 years and in more than 90 countries and regions. The debut in 2017 of the fifth-generation LS, with its daring coupe silhouette and the offering of an emotional driving experience, marked the execution of a momentous transformation.

The updated version of the Lexus brand ambassador features a number of fine-tuned elements, elevating the sedan's levels of comfort, quiet and overall refinement. The signature Lexus DNA is evident from the exterior and interior, and the LS is the culmination of thorough craftsmanship applied to even the smallest component―all the way from the vehicle's powertrain and suspension to the positioning of the stitch points of the seats.

In Bahrain, all four grades are available including the 2021 Lexus LS350, LS500 (twin turbo engine), LS500 F Sport (twin turbo engine) and LS500 Hybrid. New colour options for the exterior and interior are also available, including the Gin-ei Luster, a new exterior panel colour that achieves deep shadows and robust highlights, enabled by new paint technology.

Continually improving perfection, Lexus has updated the headlamps, signature grille and rear combination lamps to reflect a more robust feel and boost its presence. New 20” alloy wheels are also available on the 2021 models.

The interior has also been refreshed to complement the exterior refinement with new colour options and textures, enveloping the driver and passengers in luxury meant to reflect the 'path of moonlight on the sea'. The touch screen and multimedia system (compatible with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto) has also been moved slightly closer to increase accessibility to the driver.
