A dynamic expression of the Lexus L-finesse philosophy, the ‘Dual Concept’characteristics of the GX create a highly capable and sophisticated SUV that is equally at home deep in the country side as it is in the center of the city. Based on a sophisticated ‘Body on Frame’ platform, the body shell is built on an extremely strong chassis frame that handles the twisting forces of driving over rough terrain, and isolates the cabin for smooth and refined ride comfort, off-road and on-road.

LX Overview Performance
The LX570 development program focused on ensuring drivers can travel on or off-road with equal composure. This requires an exceptionally strong chassis, but not at the expense of comfort and refinement. The solution is a unique high-tensile steel chassis frame with the strength to resist the twisting forces of uneven terrain. The rigidity of the chassis lets you take on rough terrain, ford rivers and climb mountainsides with ease. In fact the LX570 was test-driven in some of the most challenging conditions that the world could offer.

Our L-finesse (L = Leading-edge) creative language allows Lexus designers to express power and strength with great finesse – creating cars that are forward-looking and deeply artistic. Look closer at the LX570 and intriguing design elements reveal themselves: the ‘spindle-shaped’ front grille that reflects the latest in Lexus design and the distinctive low beam discharge headlamps with LED DRL (Daytime Running Lamp). Attention to detail is apparent throughout the vehicle.
